"Due South makes a point of ensuring that its raw materials are seasonal, local and organic. It is one thing to take care of the produce, quite another to treat it with the care and respect that it deserves. Luckily, the team at Due South keep their wits about them: the mussels were as good as any I've eaten in recent memory, the bream was a perky, bright-fleshed, sparklingly fresh piece of fish grilled with Blumenthalian precision ..." "One of Brighton's finest" Attitude |
| We came for dinner last night and it was a really nice time for me and my friends - the service and the food were impeccable. The staff were really helpfull and not intrusive with and very knowledgeable about the dishes. For the most interresting part, the food was sublime, I had their scallops and pease pudding for a starter and for a main course a medley of pork which was great my sweet was a chocolate pudding kind off creamy in the middle. What a treat!!! I will be bringing more friends to Due south it was the best evening i had for a long time in a restaurant, keep the good work Menu Review |
Perfectly located right down on the seafront, Due South serves up a different menu every week, based on local seasonal produce. It can be hired for private parties and is the only venue on the beach with a licence to perform weddings. Top 10 posh nosh - The Guardian - July 2007 |
